Terms & Conditions

1. Parties: This Car Rental Agreement hereinto referred to as “Agreement”, is entered into between MetroGo Rentals, hereinafter referred to as “MetroGo” and the undersigned renter, hereinafter referred to as “Renter”. Where the Renter agrees to utilize the rental vehicle of MetroGo, hereinafter referred to as the “Rental Vehicle” under the terms of this Agreement and in exchange for a sum of payment determined by MetroGo.

2. Term of Agreement: The term of this Car Rental Agreement runs from the date and hour of Rental Vehicle pick-up until the return of the Rental Vehicle keys to MetroGo, and completion of all terms of this agreement by both Parties as noted on the reverse side of the document. The Parties may shorten or extend the estimated term of rental by mutual consent. The Renter is subject to the following prerequisite rental terms:

I. Minimum rental period is 3 days
II. Renter and any additional driver are between the ages of 25-69
III. All drivers hold a valid driver’s license for the duration of the rental period

3. Rental Usage: Renter will not allow any other person to operate the Rented Vehicle unless identified as an “Additional Driver”. Renter and any Additional Driver will use the Rented Vehicle only for personal or routine business use, and operate the Rented Vehicle only on properly maintained roads and parking lots. Renter and any Additional Driver will comply with all applicable laws relating to holding licensure to operate the vehicle, and pertaining to operation of motor vehicles. Renter will not sublease the Rental Vehicle or use it as a vehicle for hire. The Renter agrees to not handle Rental Vehicle with neglect, aggressive use, or gross negligence. Appropriate handling of vehicle or vehicle care may be assessed by MetroGo at any time, and may result in rental agreement termination.

4. Security Deposit: Renter will be required to provide a security deposit to MetroGo in the amount of One Hundred dollars ($100.00) to be used in the event of minor (not exceeding $100) loss or damage. In the event, the Rental Vehicle is returned to MetroGo within company satisfaction, the deposit will be refunded to the Renter within 24hours. In the event the company has assessed a level loss or damage to the Rental Vehicle incurred during the rental term and identified during the 24 hour period, MetroGo reserves the right to use the sum total or partial amount of the Security Deposit to defray the costs of necessary repairs, restorations or replacement as a result of loss or damage to the Rental Vehicle as described in paragraphs 5 and 7 of this Agreement.

5. Penalties and Violations: The Renter agrees to return the Rental Vehicle whole, and of similar condition as before it was rented; including interior fabrics and finishes, with all functional accessories provided for the duration of the rental term, and 100% full fuel tank as vehicle was received. Each vehicle is non-smoking. Any violation of these conditions may result in damage or loss to the Rental Vehicle requiring the Renter to receive a penalty or violation.

Penalties include:

I. 100% – 100% Fuel Policy Penalty – $20 for every 1/4 tank
II. Less than 24 hours cancellation or no show – $50

Violations include:

I. Smoking in vehicle or any foul, hard to remove scent left in vehicle – $100
II. Excessive interior staining or discoloring of seats, carpets etc. – Starting at $100
III. Missing complimentary accessories – $50 per accessory

Violations are documented and monitored for each Renter. Consistent violations may result in denial of future or termination of current rental services.

6. Insurance Coverage: MetroGo does not offer Collision Damage Waver insurance. The Vehicle is covered under a third-party insurance policy which provides coverage for damage to third-party vehicles and property in the event of an accident where the Renter, meeting the terms of this agreement, is deemed at fault. This coverage does not extend to damage to the Vehicle itself, nor does it provide coverage for personal injury or medical expenses for the Renter or any passengers should the vehicle be involved in a collision.

7. Responsibility for Damages: Responsibility for damages, excessive staining or discoloring, automobile parts theft, grand theft, dents, scratches, windshield or window glass cracks, running up on curbs, flat tires, tire replacement, traffic accidents, and any other damage to the Rental Vehicle are the sole responsibility of the signed Renter.

8. Representations and Warranties: MetroGo represents and warrants that, to its knowledge, the Rental Vehicle is in good condition and is safe for ordinary operation. Renter represents and warrants that Renter is legally entitled to operate a motor vehicle under the laws of this jurisdiction and will not operate it in violation of any laws, or in any negligent or illegal manner.

9. Indemnification: Renter agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MetroGo for any loss, damage, or legal actions against MetroGo as a result of Renter’s operation or use of the Rented Vehicle during the term of this Car Rental Agreement. This includes any attorney fees necessarily incurred for these purposes.

10. Entire Agreement: This Car Rental Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties with respect to this rental arrangement. MetroGo reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. MetroGo also reserves the right to at its discretion, terminate a reservation or rental as a result of a breach of the terms of this contract.
